It has free downloads of the southern hemisphere sky each month - easy to use.

Sky Map app for android - really cool - doesn't need internet - calibrates to your position longitude and latitude. (Allows you to show stars that are in the sky during the day but can't be seen because of the sun - that makes a nice lesson.) I like this app better than the one for the ipad.
